Scripts are blueprints that need to be available for production. But how is that process best achieved for medium, short form films of 10 – 20 minutes. In an actual production class, a separate scriptwriting class, in an open school competition? This panel seeks to explore the current experiences of diverse Universities and personnel as far away as Guam (a US territory near the Philippines) and closer to home in Pennsylvania and Georgia. What works and what does not? And what is the future of student sourced scripting likely to involve.
